Yes. If you enable the payment functionality, your guests can send a payment request after which your staff can send the required amount. After that your guest can pay through various gateways like PayPal.
The Butlaroo service is applicable to any type of business that incorporates hospitality activities. For example: restaurants, hotels, conference rooms, pubs, festivals, parties, bowling alleys, cruise ships, terraces, beach clubs, airports, airplanes, trains, canteens, ceremonies, cinema’s, etc.
Not necessarily. The Butlaroo Staff app runs on iOS and Android phones and tablets, so if you have one of those devices, you can simply use that. However, if you’re using the Butlaroo Staff app on a stationary position, like behind a bar or a counter, we recommend using either an iPad or an Android tablet. This is because the extra screen space will make you work more efficiently.
Yes. The Butlaroo Staff app can be logged in simultaneously on as many devices as you want. This means you can for example position multiple tablets through your venue, or your personnel can use their own smartphones to receive and handle incoming requests and orders.
The place specific QR-codes can easily be ordered through the place card manager in the control panel. You can fully customize the cards (labels, stickers, etc.). When done, you can submit the order and we will ship the materials as quickly as possible. Alternatively you can download the source files (in SVG or PDF format) for free and send them to your own printing office or even print them on your own printer.
We obviously cannot guarantee that Butlaroo will raise your sales or your revenue. However, Butlaroo makes calling the waiter, ordering and even payments so easy, that guests will order more, simply because they don’t have to be distracted by waiting for any waiter to come by. Besides, offering Butlaroo might be a good reason for a guest to choose your venue instead of one that does not.
Yes. Like any other company, Butlaroo requires some money to develop the apps, the back-office and to keep the IT infrastructure up and running with minimum downtime. Since we don’t want to spoil a great customer experience at your venue with annoying ads, we ask for a tiny fee to use our services. However, the Butlaroo app is completely free to use for your customers.
We ask for a tiny fee for every activated place (table, hotel room, etc.) per day. The fee is calculated per minute, so if a specific place has only been activated for 6 hours you only pay for a quarter of a day, which is literally less than a cent in most currencies. The latest fee can be found on the registration page.
Yes. You can easily disable all places (tables, hotel rooms, etc.) in your control panel which immediately stops them from being charged. Since the fee is calculated per minute, you never pay for anything you did not ask for. If you want to remove your account completely, you can contact us and we will process your request.
